The tour ends with a visit to the magnificent Norman Cloister, the oldest in Sicily, which is decorated with a range of biblical and anthropomorphic figures.
The Norman Cathedral at Cefalu (the equivalent of the more famous Monreale Cathedral) houses a masterpiece of mosaic work set beneath the giant “roccia” (rock) looming over Cefalu. For a modest fee one can explore not only the nave, but the cloisters, museum and tower offering a magnificent view of the town.”
